A 59-year-old man with no underlying conditions was diagnosed with prostate cancer during screening. Tumor staging was T3, and Gleason score was 8. Several months later, the patient underwent successful radiation with a course of hormone therapy. A year later, the patient presents with an impending rib fracture. He reports recent weight loss, and physical exam reveals adenopathy. There is no evidence of urologic symptoms.
