Considerations for the surgical management of diaphragmatic endometriosis

The goal of this video is to highlight relevant surgical anatomy in the surgical management of diaphragmatic endometriosis and the tips and tricks that may be helpful for surgeons to implement during these procedures. The gynecologic surgeon responsible for the care of these patients must be familiar with liver, diaphragmatic, and thoracic anatomy. Prior experience in these types of cases is key. Thoracic surgery, anesthesia, and radiology should be included in the preoperative phases in case of intraoperative consultation.
