Digital flexible hysteroscopy diagnoses cesarean scar defect

Seen at office diagnostic hysteroscopy during an evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding, an out-pouching of the cervix is identified within the cervical canal just proximal to the level of the internal cervical os. A small amount of dark blood is seen emanating from the defect within the cervix.
