Botanical Briefs: Cashew Apple (Anacardium occidentale)

Ethnic diversity in the United States has increased the presence of a variety of exotic foods. A lack of knowledge about certain foods, including fruits that are not native to the United States, can lead to ingestion of allergenic or even toxic substances.
