Survey: Cancer-Related Pain, Opioid Use Up Since 2018

Key clinical point: Patients were more likely to report having cancer-related pain in 2019 than in 2018.

Major finding: In 2019, 19% of patients experienced cancer-related pain, compared with 12% in 2018.

Study details: An online survey involved 4,815 adults, of whom 1,009 had been diagnosed with cancer.
