Pigment traits, sun sensitivity associated with risk of non-Hodgkin lymphomas and chronic lymphocytic leukemia

Key clinical point: Pigment traits and sun sensitivity were associated with the risk of developing non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

Major finding: The hazard ratio for “many or very many nevi” was 3.00 for CLL vs. 1.32 for NHL.

Study details: Analysis of a prospective cohort of 92,097 women in France.
