Upper GI bleeds in COVID-19 not related to increased mortality

Key clinical point: COVID-19 status is a greater driver of mortality than upper GI bleeding.

Major finding: Upper GI bleeding development was not associated with increased in-hospital mortality in COVID-19 patients (OR, 1.14; 95% CI, 0.59-2.19).
