Caregiver burden of outpatient ASCT for multiple myeloma comparable with inpatient transplant

Key clinical point: Tending to patients who opt for outpatient autologous stem cell transplants is well tolerated by caregivers, so long as they have the resources and support necessary.

Major finding: There were no differences in self-reported burden between inpatient and outpatient caregivers 3 months after transplant.
