Viral encephalitis associated with 2 cases of rituximab maintenance therapy

Key clinical point: Viral encephalitis in patients treated with rituximab maintenance therapy presented in one patient with deafness; the other with paroxysmal light flashes, apraxia, and weakness.

Major finding: Viral encephalitis was seen in 1 treated patient with mantle cell lymphoma, the other with low grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
