Adjuvant radiotherapy no better than salvage post prostatectomy

Key clinical point: Men who undergo radical prostatectomy can be safely spared from adjuvant radiotherapy.

Major finding: There were no significant differences in outcomes between men assigned to adjuvant radiotherapy and observation with salvage radiation.

Study details: Randomized trial in 1,369 men and meta-analysis of pooled results for 2,151 men.
