Cognitive Function Worse in Patients with Fibromyalgia

Key clinical point: Cognitive function was worse subjectively and objectively for individuals with fibromyalgia than for their matched controls.

Major finding: Patients with fibromyalgia had lower scores in working memory and self-reported cognitive function than those of the control participants (P < .001).

Study details: Prospective ambulatory study of 50 individuals with fibromyalgia and 50 matched controls.
