Aspirin as CVD prevention in seniors? Think twice

Against a backdrop of the US Preventive Services Task Force recommendations on the use of aspirin to prevent cardiovascular disease (CVD), Dr. Campos-Outcalt summarizes the findings of an October 2018 aspirin study published in The New England Journal of Medicine. The study gives physicians reason to pause before using aspirin as primary prevention for CVD in older adults.
